Opolo's 2013 Adriatic Coast Trip

Rick Quinn, owner of Opolo Vineyards of Paso Robles, California has just announced the Opolo's 2013 Adriatic Coast Tour, led by Rick himself.

Rick was born in Minnesota where he was an active member of the Serbian Church and community of Duluth. He is an avid member, player and supporter of the tambura community. Come join your favorite winery as they taste, tour and experience the fine foods, wines, and sites of that part of Europe. The tour will be June 19 - July 2 and he is inviting those who would like to join the group tour to do so at the vineyard website.

Nick Vujicic

Nicholas James Vujicic (/ˈvɔɪtʃɪtʃ/ voy-chich; Serbian: Николас Џејмс Вујичић, Nikolas Džejms Vujičić; born 4 December 1982) is a Serbian Australian evangelist and motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of all four limbs. As a child, he struggled mentally and emotionally as well as physically, but eventually came to terms with his disability and, at the age of seventeen, started his own non-profit organisation, Life Without Limbs. Vujicic presents motivational speeches worldwide, on life with a disability, hope and finding meaning in life. He also speaks about his belief that God can use any willing heart to do his work and that God is big enough to overcome any and all disabilities.

An Exhibit of Byzantine and Modern Orthodox Icons

Residents of Heaven is a book of Icons by Father Stamatis Skliris which were prepared for "An Exhibit of Byzantine and Modern Orthodox Icons" held at the "David Allan Hubbard Library, Fuller Theological Seminary" in Pasadena, California, June 10 - July 5, 2010.

The iconographer, V. Rev. Stamatis Skliris, attended the opening of the exhibit with His Grace, Bishop Maxim who gave the Introduction. The mounting of the display was done by Jasminka Gabrie and the staff of the Fuller Library. The opening event was organized by Dr. William Dyrness, Director of the Visual Faith Institute, Brehm Center for Worship, Theology and the Arts, Fuller Seminary.
